Hi, I’m Nicole—a speaker, advocate for human-centered healthcare, and board-eligible certified life, health, and wellness coach (NBHWC National Board Exam July 2025).
Living with POTS and Type 1 Diabetes, I have experienced both sides of the clinical conversation—first as a patient, and later through my work supporting patient care and education at a major academic medical center.
I draw on this lived insight, along with professional training to make complex medical concepts more accessible and human-centered.
My focus includes POTS, orthostatic intolerance, and commonly associated conditions such as Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). My work centers on education and support--not diagnosis or treatment.
Drawing from personal experience with POTS and years supporting clinical education and patient advocacy, I help improve communication between patients and the systems that serve them.

Drawing from personal experience with POTS and years supporting clinical education and patient advocacy, I help improve communication between patients and the systems that serve them.
As a certified health coach and educator, I provide tools and insight that help clinicians and organizations recognize, support, and lead patients navigating complex, often misunderstood conditions.
I work with healthcare teams, institutions, and individuals to translate experience into meaningful, lasting change—for patients, providers, and systems alike.
My role is non-clinical and focused on education and support.
I blend data-informed education, lived experience, and practical strategies to enhance clinical insight and support resilient, connected care.
My work reinforces what providers already do well—while offering a fresh perspective on conditions that are often complex, evolving, and not always well understood in everyday clinical settings.
